Over the last few summers, my family will go help serve at Shower Up. It is a mobile shower service for the homeless here in downtown Nashville but has expanded to a few cities around the states. It’s an incredible organizing full of incredible people.
Candidly, I rarely want to go, but I’m always glad I did.
It has been such an amazing thing for our family. I can’t encourage y’all enough to serve together with your family. And please know that my kids don’t enjoy it most of the time, but that isn’t the point. I know it’s good for them and maybe especially me.
And if you live here in Nashville, go serve and tell them I sent you!
There’s something about how simple the chord progression and chorus melody is that always drew me in. It’s just one of those songs that’s not just fun and easy to sing, but I think is really fun and easy to listen to also!” -Dave
Ok, if your kids (or you) love Lego (since watching Lego Masters I have discovered that you're supposed to say just Lego and not Legos like we all have been saying our entire lives) then my pick this week is for you.
There is this app called Brickit where you can scan a giant pile of all the random Lego (again just feels weird) that you have and the app will somehow magically see every single little Lego piece that you have and then it will spit out different instructions for all the things you can build with what you have.
Is that not insane?!?!
You're welcome.

Very sad and curious as to why no more singing of the guest's name? That is the Dadville signature!
