A HUGE HEADS UP. Mark your calendars because THIS FRIDAY I have a new song coming out called “Symphony.” I wrote this with Kelsea Ballerini and Forest Glen Whitehead. It’s a little love song just in time for Valentine’s Day!!
Hope y’all enjoy!
Ok, my goal was to finish this one by this week and I'm almost there. A mere pages away from the finish line. So I have read enough to say that I highly recommend this book. Man oh man is it heavy and man oh man is it interesting.
What I'm Listening to
While out on the road this month, I found out that our tour manager, Matt, is a massive (and I mean just shy of a restraining order massive) fan of Dave Matthews Band. I hadn't really listened to Dave in years and so I went back and started listening to some old live records and man...it just takes me back. This live record Listener Supported was my alarm clock (I had one of those huge 6-disc CD player stereos that would start playing a CD as the alarm clock) my senior year of high school so just hearing the first track made me want to go to morning swim practice in my Abercrombie cargo pants.
What I'm Thinking About
All the things I didn't remember to say in our 200th episode recording.....

I always talk to people about the idea of being married to one person who changes into different people throughout the marriage. And the idea of our worries for our children are our own problems we place onto them and not necessarily theirs. Like the story Jon talks about with his daughter playing with a leaf during a PTA meeting.
