Ok. Laugh all you want. Go ahead. I know, I know. What a weird pick. “Are you ok, Dave? A candle? A CANDLE?” YES. A CANDLE. And if I need a reason more than I just love these and they are my go-to ANY time of year, they are “made for” Christmas, so do yourself a favor and get one of these bad boys.
I can see it now. “Dave, you know, at first I laughed. And was worried. But 5 minutes into lighting this bad boy, I only smiled realizing you were right, and my days got noticeably better because the nose is the pathway to joy.”
Or something like that anyway.

Voting...
It's 6:40am and I'm currently in line to vote. There are about 12 people ahead of me and we're all waiting for the doors to open at 7:00. My kids have the day off school today which throws a bit of a monkey wrench into the schedule. I totally get why our kids aren't going to school today. I am all for the teachers having the day off so they can vote. But I also totally get the argument that kids should, of all days, be in school today. I am all for parents having the day off from their kids so that they can go vote.
There’s a pretty strong argument on both sides that I totally get. Which is, of course, very apropo on voting day. The culmination of months (...and months, and months...) of us hearing about issues that have not only one clear and simple and obvious solution but two clear and simple and obvious solutions. yay.
I hope you all are able to get out and vote today and I pray we all have a positive experience with anyone & everyone around us!
