The fellas are back this week with a laundry list of holiday related topics to tackle. After a lengthy diatribe on their local Parkin issues (and why Dave feels and inner calling to stand on his porch), they talk about cold plunges, new Christmas music, the backstory behind Dave's new single, a bit about Thanksgiving, and why Jon might need therapy after seeing one two many dish towels on the counter.

This week’s pic is a timely one but man oh man oh man is it a doozy. This Christmas tree stand is the best, yes, the goat of Christmas tree stands. Is it pricey? Yes. Is love pricey? Yes. Is happiness pricey? Also, yes.
I bought mine 8 years ago and still to this day may be one of the best purchases i’ve ever made. It’s SO awesome and unbelievably amazing at what it does.
I’m hoping there are at least a few of yall that still haven’t gotten your Christmas tree, because this is going to make your wait worth it.

Thanksgiving ’24 in the books.
Look, I’m not one to brag but I have been absolutely crushing hosting Thanksgiving this year. Amy’s family came down to Nashville from Indiana early last week and this year, for whatever reason, I was really keen on getting the house completely ready for Christmas before her family arrived for Thanksgiving. I did yard work and Christmas decorating from the crack of dawn Monday morning until the sun went down Tuesday night. The house looked (looks) great, the food was great, the company was great …. it all was great. Most years I spend most of my time cleaning and tidying everything up in the wake of all the visitors at our house. Plastic shopping bags on the counter…stray shoes everywhere…all the cups ever made all the sudden are all at my house and half empty. But not this year, guys. This year I rose above it and I didn’t sweat the small stuff and it was a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I hope yours was wonderful as well!
p.s. - shout out to Liv for running FIVE MILES!!! On Thanksgiving morning. The girl hadn’t even run a mile before and she ran 5 miles, y’all.

JON!!!!
My daughter and I came over to your show in Fort Wayne last evening. It was so festive and delightful. We had the best time. She came up from Cincinnati (she’s attending UC) just to tag along with me and you and the boys did not disappoint. We’d seen you a couple years ago at Ludlow Garage as well around this time of year and we were excited to see you again. I was at the “Indiana” show at the Clyde as well, (I did VIP too), but I was so entranced when you mentioned it that evening, that I was among those that missed the window for cheers about it.
What an incredible show tho…watching you play is magical and she said “dang, Jon!” more than once. Your arrangements brought a bright new life and charm to those classics and of course the originals are immediately dreamy and lovable. Not to mention your jacket and socks. 🤩We got dinner before hand and had the best little date night(minus the chatterboxes with the ringing phone beside us 🙄). We decided Jon’s Christmas show needed to be a new tradition for us and we’re hopeful it can continue.
Hoping you made it safe and sound to Carmel and the show goes off without a hitch.
Merry Christmas to you & Amy and the girls. (…even tho she might have misplaced your Tincaps hat😉)
Thank you for sharing your beautiful gifts and making our holiday season merry and bright. 🎄
