Minute-for-minute this might be the most inquisitive and eye-opening Jon/Dave episode in a while. Just imagine that in less than an hour you'll have definitive answers to the following questions:
How do you make the veins in your arm look bigger?
What makes the perfect morning?
Do you get "whiplash" once the kids move out?
How did George Clooney ruin Jon's 7th grad year?
Does Dave play Marco Polo with just anyone?
Are we overcomplicating it?
What did Jon give up for lent that made a profound difference?
Is there a healthy form of anxiety?

Canon Selphy CP1500 Wireless Compact Photo Printer
I LOVE this little printer. In an age where he have photos in our pockets but not on our shelves, this is a quick and easy way to print any pics that you love right at home.
That was actually a pretty great summation. Canon, holla at ya boi.
Play Nine: The Card Game of Golf
This card gave has nothing to do with golf but everything to do with fun. My family took this on our family trips this summer and played it at many a meal. Really really fun game.
$1 Frostys
I’m sure there are chemicals that are going to potentially end humanity in these, but for a dollar I’m willing to roll the dice.

The Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
This is one of those books I picked up in a hurry at an airport. I have realized in the past month or so that a lot of the books I read I purchase in a hurry at an airport. Is that good? Bad? Maybe it just is? Maybe I subconsciously do it habitually because it gives me this little segment of my life where I can judge books by their covers guilt free?
Anyway, I picked this book out because I guess I liked the cover…I don’t really remember … but to be honest I was a little disappointed when I realized it was a pseudo-sci-fi fantasy fiction novel. I have never really been into sci-fi fantasy stuff even though when I actually do consume some sci-fi fantasy, be it movies or books, I do enjoy it. It’s kinda like oysters. When someone orders them for the table I’ll have a couple and I like them but I’m never going to seek them out myself.
Well, come to find out this is a very, very popular book. I’m about halfway through it right now and it’s … interesting. There have been times when I was really into it and there have been times (like currently) where I’m not so into it. I’m going to push through and finish what I’ve started but if you’re looking for a yay or nay from me on this one I’d say it’s too early to tell.
What I’m listening to…
My “Chill Classical” playlist on Spotify
In particular, Chopin’s Prelude in E minor (Op.28, No.4).
I think this playlist is public so you can listen if you’d like. I know not everyone connects with classical music, which I totally get, but having learned a lot of these songs in college they’re nostalgic for me and the beauty in these songs (the Chopin prelude above especially) is just amazing.
What I’m thinking about…
Different topics for Dadville episodes. I’m making a list and I’ve got a couple good ones. If you think of any please send them our way!
….also Travis Kelce’s outfit choice for the US Open men’s final.

Dadville Classic!
With so many shows in the archives, we thought it would be cool to highlight some older episodes for our newer citizens. Every Thursday we will dig deep into our back catalog and drop one of our favorite episodes.
We aren't going to pretend that this is just another episode of Dadville, because it's not. Bruce Hornsby is here.
Can we just let that last sentence soak in a bit?
BH (can we call him that?) is a seminal influence on the fellas and they go deep on his history of being discovered by Michael McDonald, recording with Bonnie Raitt, beating Allen Iverson, and so much more. This is an instant HOF episode of Dadville.

Jon wins with the nod to the Chopin prelude. Also learned it in college (much longer ago than Jon). Beautiful.
