Ok, so don’t judge me here, though I do deserve it, but my pick of the week is this playlist on Spotify. Yes. It’s a playlist of songs I wrote for other people which is a bit on the nose. I do realize that.
BUT….
1. Maybe you didn’t know I wrote songs for other people too!
2. Maybe you see a song you like and think - “hey! I didn’t know Dave wrote that!”
3. Maybe you were sitting there thinking - “I wish there was a way I could listen to all the songs Dave has written for other people in one place on one streaming service!”
4. You may also be thinking - “this feels like maybe Dave didn’t plan well for his pick this week and he’s reaching.” And that would be fair. Very fair.
In any case, enjoy!

What I'm Listening to...
Coldplay's Moon Music
We talked about this album on an episode (that's not out yet...spoiler alert) and I hadn't listened to it yet so that day I started it and I've listened through once completely but want to keep listening. There are definitely some great songs on there but I think this album as a whole will be a slow burn for me.
What I'm Thinking About...
How it's just not possible to keep a house clean with kids living in the house. If you have kids and you want a clean house you'll have to buy another house that you spend time in during the day and that one can be clean and you can enjoy it by yourself for a few minutes here and there before you have to go back to your main house where there are random socks and granola bar wrappers everywhere.

Nov. 23 - City Winery, Nashville - TICKETS

Not on Spotify (im an Apple Music girl still...I know, I know.) So I'll try to find Dave's list on my own and listen to Jon's pick asap. Can't make it to Tennessee sadly but I'm excited to see Jon again in Fort Wayne. This will be show 3 for us, Jon...DAVE----we need to add you to our show list somehow soon, Jon's way ahead. Also--even when the kid goes to college--you somehow still have their crap in your house...between dorms, apartments and adulting--someday I'm gonna have nice things. I always take something away from every episode and I also enjoy your Ad antics. Keep on with the smiles for us guys!
